The Island Lake Campground lies on the eastern shore of Island Lake at an elevation of 10,000 feet. The access road, from State Road 65, for this site is Forest Service Road 116. Island Lake can accommodate 41 individual camping units, some up to 45 feet in length. Facilities include potable water and toilets. Campers will enjoy access to fishing, hiking and boating from this site.
Directions from Cedaredge: Drive 16.25 miles north on State Road 65 to Forest Road 116. Turn on to 116 and travel one mile west to the campground.

Nice hosts. clean bathroom. Conditions: spots 34,35,36 on a hill overlooking lake. bugs not bad and temp 74 during the day and 50 at night. Water Availability: water avail.
