General Description

Mosca Campground is located on the banks of Spring Creek Reservoir. A boat ramp and fishing site are located within the campground. Mountain bikers, hikers and four-wheel drive enthusiasts will enjoy this location and the variety of trail and roads its offers.

Directions from Almont: Drive north on Highway 135 from Almont to Taylor Canyon Road (Forest Road 742). Turn right on to Taylor Canyon Road and travel 7.25 miles to Spring Creek Road (Forest Road 744). Turn left on to Spring Creek Road and travel approximately 12 miles to Mosca Campground.

Spring Creek - Spring Creek originates on the southwestern flanks of American Flag Mountain in the Elk Mountain Range. It's waters flow southward to Spring Creek Reservoir and on to the Taylor River.

Spring Creek Reservoir - Spring Creek Reservoir lies immediately west of Taylor Park Reservoir amidst 10,000 and 11,000 foot peaks. This lake supports rainbow and brown trout and fair fishing.

Spring Creek Road #744 - This road accesses Spring Creek. It starts at the Spring Creek Reservoir.
