General Description

The Star Trailhead lies on Rocky Brook Road, four-wheel drive only, north of Taylor Park Reservoir. It provides access to Star Trail, Italian Creek Road and Taylor River Road. This area is used mainly by mountain bikers, motorcyclists and four-wheel drive enthusiasts.

Directions from Spring Creek Road: Travel six miles northeast on the Taylor River Road to Spring Creek Road, Forest Service Road 744. Turn left on to Spring Creek Road and travel 11.5 miles to Rocky Brook Road, Forest Service Road 748. If you reach Mosca Campground you've gone too far.

Directions from Taylor River Road: Travel one and a half miles passes the Dinner Station Campground to Rocky Brook Road, Forest Service 748. Turn left on to Rocky Brook Road and travel four and a half miles to Star Trailhead.
