General Description

Garden Basin Trailhead lies at 10,800 feet. It provides access to the long-distance Timberline and Continental Divide Trails. The trailhead lies on Mirror Lake Road, Forest Service Road 267, east of Tincup.

Directions from Taylor River Road: Shortly after passing the Lakeview Campground Taylor River Road turns sharply northward. At this corner continue straight on to Cumberland Pass Road, Forest Service Road 765. Follow 765 seven and three quarter miles to Tincup. In Tincup turn left on to Mirror Lake Road, which is Forest Service Road 267. Follow Mirror Lake Road two and a half miles east of Tincup to the Garden Basin Trailhead.
