The Doctor Park Road follows Doctor Gulch for one mile. As the creek splits so does the road. The right fork leads to Doctor Park Trail, 424, which is a motorized trail. The left fork climbs a ridge via switch backs and ends at a hiking trail, which summits South Matchless Mountain. Travel restrictions may be in effect, please check current conditions at the Gunnison ranger office.
Directions from Almont: Travel six miles northeast on the Taylor River Road, 742, to Spring Creek Road, 744. Turn left on to Spring Creek Road and drive seven miles north to Doctor Park Road, 744.2C.

Spring Creek Road #744 - This road accesses Spring Creek. It starts at the Spring Creek Reservoir.
