The first one and a half miles of this road is usually passable by two wheel drive vehicles. There are numerous roads branching off the main road, all except Slaughterhouse Gulch (Forest Road 764) are dead ends. Union Park Road leaves Cumberland Pass Road, at an elevation of 9,413 feet, leading southward and climbing. In one and a half miles, the road reaches a high point of 10,076 feet before dropping into Union Park. Within Union Park a few roads intersect with Union Park Road. At the third fork in the road follow Union Park Road to the right, Slaughterhouse Gulch Road leads to the left. On the south side of the park, the road heads southeast along a hillside for two miles. The road then joins Lottis Creek and follows it for two miles before climbing a ridge to a dead end at the Fossil Ridge Wilderness boundary.
Directions from Almont: Travel twenty-one miles east on the Taylor River Road, Forest Road 742, to Cumberland Pass Road, Forest Road 765. Turn right on to 765 and drive less than one mile east to Union Park Road (Forest Road 752) on the south side of the road.
