General Description

Cebolla Campground is located approximately 30 miles east of Lake City. The site lies very close to La Garita and Powderhorn Wilderness Areas. Hiking, backpacking and horseback riding are popular activities for visitors to Cebolla Campground. Fishing is also popular because the campground lies on the banks of Cebolla Creek.

Directions from Lake City: Drive south on Highway 149 to Forest Developed Road 788. Turn left on 788 and travel past the entrances to Deer Lakes, Hidden Valley and Spruce Campgrounds. Cebolla Campground will be the fourth developed site you reach.
