Blacktail Creek Picnic Ground

The Blacktail Creek Picnic Area is located in the Gore Pass area, 25 miles southeast of Yampa, along Hwy. 134. The picnic area overlooks Blacktail Creek. Blacktail Creek Campground is located just across the creek from the picnic area.Facilities: The picnic ground has 6 sites, with picnic tables, fire grates, trash collection, and a restroom. Drinking water is available at the campground.
Directions from Yampa: Travel south on Colorado Hwy 131 approximately 11 miles to Colorado Hwy 134. Go east on Hwy 134 approximately 14 miles to Blacktail Creek Picnic Ground, on the right, just before the campground.
