General Description

This area was affected by a large tree blowdown. Contact the Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District for current conditions.

The Slavonia Trailhead is located north of Steamboat Springs, at the end of Seedhouse Road, Forest Road 400. It directly accesses the Gilpin Lake Trail #1161 and the Gold Creek Lake Trail #1150. The Mica Basin Trail #1162 is accessed from the Gilpin Lake trail and the Red Dirt Pass Trail #1142 is accessed from the Gold Creek Lake Trail. The Wyoming Trail #1101 can also be reached from this trailhead.

Directions from Steamboat Springs: Travel west of town on HWY 40 to Road 129, Elk River Road. Go north on 129 approximately 18 miles to Seedhouse Road, Forest Road 400. Go 12.5 miles northeast, to the end of Seedhouse Road.
