General Description

This is a lightly used trail. The first mile climbs steeply and is quite strenuous. Lake Fork Creek The trail then joins a four-wheel drive road and continues on a gentle descent for 3 miles to Las Flores Lake, terminating at the Conejos Stock Driveway #720 just south of Las Flores Lake.

Water is not available along this trail.

Las Flores Lake does not have a fish population.

Directions from La Jara Reservoir, Colorado: Take Forest Development Road # 249, a four-wheel drive road, 7.0 miles to Bancos Cow Camp and the junction with the trail.

Directions from Antonito, Colorado: Go 23.0 miles west from Highway 17 to the Conejos River Road #250. Proceed north of Forest Development Road # 250 13.0 miles to the trailhead.
