General Description

This picnic area has fishing access to Spring Creek Reservoir. There are 2 picnic units, each with table and fireplace. One vault type toilet is provided, but there is no drinking water, garbage receptacles or firewood. There are no trees; it is open grass and willow brush country. One can fish in the Reservoir.

Directions from CREEDE, COLORADO: TRAVEL 19 MILES WEST-NORTHWEST ON STATE HIGHWAY 149 TO SPRING CREEK RESERVOIR ENTRANCE.

Normally Open: Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend (NOTE: Picnic area is open when snow melts and area could close earlier than stated due to snow.) .
