General Description

This site overlooks Rio Grande Reservoir and has 4 picnic units, each with tables and fireplaces. One is located above, near the parking lot and three are below, down the steps and in the trees. No refuse receptacles are provided, so please pack your own trash. No firewood or drinking water is provided. There is ample parking for all but trailers.

Directions from CREEDE, COLORADO: TRAVEL 18 MILES WEST-NORTHWEST ON STATE HIGHWAY 149 TO FOREST ROAD 520, THEN 14 MILES WEST TO PICNIC AREA/BOAT RAMP ENTRANCE.
