From Willow Creek, you can go west down the Beaver Creek Road to South Fork, or east to Crystal Lakes and down the Pinos Creek Road. There is a good chance of seeing deer or elk along this route, especially during the early morning or late afternoon. There is good fishing in Willow Creek along the first 4 miles of road, and ample camping spots along the entire route. The first 7 1/2 miles is passable with a high clearance two wheel drive vehicle, but the last 5 1/2 miles should be in a 4 wheel drive.
Directions from Del Norte: Go west on U.S. Highway 160 for 13 1/2 miles to the Del Norte Peak Road #345. Go south on Road 345 for 3 miles until you come to the junction of roads 345 and 350, take road 350. On Road 350, it is 4 miles to Willow Park and 7 1/2 miles to the Cross Creek Road #359. Take Road 359 to the south 5 1/2 miles to Forest Road #332.
