Ski 1 mile west on Mitchell Lake Trail or up Mitchell Creek from the bridge to Mitchell Lake. At this point, advanced skiers may wish to ski 1 mile farther west to Blue Lake by following the creek at the northwest end of Mitchell to this timberline lake. To return, ski north of the creek bed route maintaining elevation on the Mt. Audubon side or down to Mitchell. The return trip from Mitchell Lake is about 4 miles.
