General Description

The Narrows Cooperative Campground is located in the Poudre Canyon. It sits adjacent to Poudre River. It offers fishing in the river.

Facilities:
This campground has 4 -6 camp sites. It is a good area for large trailers. It has a toilet, and parking area. There is no drinking water available and no fee charged.

Directions from Fort Collins: Travel northwest on Highway 14 approximately 30 miles to the site.

There are 3 VERY great walk-in campsites right on the water. Sites are closer than we expected, but the river drounds out ALL sound! They do have picnic tables and fire rings. Toilet is well kept and we found site staff to be very welcoming. ;-) PS. Bring your own wood from town (you can find several places online) it's about $7 per very small bundle up there, and it burns FAST! Conditions: Perfect for Adults and Kids alike. Very close to water, so keep your little ones on a tight string. Also, pick your campsite well...there are 2 that are exposed to the sun all day, not good for summer camping, but great for winter. Water Availability: Water was great! Also, they do have a water pump for drinking and filling containers. Number of People Encountered: 11-25 ppl Recommend to a Friend: Highly Report: Awesome campground, but make sure you pay for your sight before 8am if you get there during the night. The park hosts were NOT nice!! Number of People Encountered: 25-50 ppl Recommend to a Friend: Highly Report: This campground was amazing! There are 2 different areas of the Narrows Campgrounds the tent only & the RV & Camper area. We camped in the walk-in tent section. There is definately a fee to camp there ($10), but WELL worth it. We were there on July 4th weekend & it still was not too overrun with people. We had walk-in sites 13-14, right on the Poudre River. Simply beautiful!
