General Description

Cold Springs Campground is located 5 miles north of Blackhawk on Highway 119, at an elevation of 9,200 feet. Highway 119 is the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway. Campground facilities include drinking water, tables, fire rings and pit toilets and trash service.

Directions from Idaho Springs: Travel east on Interstate 70 approximately 5 miles to Highway 6. Travel northeast on Highway 6 approximately 3 miles to Highway 119. Travel northwest on Highway 119 approximately 12 miles to the site.

Directions from Blackhawk: 5 miles north of Central City-Blackhawk on Hwy. 119

Normal Services Available: Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend (NOTE: Reduced services from Labor Day to November.) .
