Chicago Forks is located 8 miles southwest of Idaho Springs on Highway 103, at an elevation of 9,200 feet. It sits along a stream and has six picnic sites. There are fire rings, tables and toilets. Drinking water is not available at the picnic area.
Directions from Idaho Springs: From the I-70 exit #240, travel 8 miles southwest on Highway 103 to the site.
