Cloudland Picnic Area is located about 16 miles from Idaho Springs, three miles east of Echo Lake on Highway 103. It sits at an elevation of 11,200 feet with fishing nearby. The picnic ground has 7 sites, tables, fire rings and a toilet. There is no drinking water.
Directions from Idaho Springs: From the I-70 exit #240, travel south on Highway 103 approximately 16 miles to the site.
