Lakes of the Clouds - 10.95

There is no designated parking at the trailhead but there is ample parking along the road. You follow the Rainbow Trail for 2 miles of gentle walking to the marked trailhead for Lake of the Clouds. From this point it is about 4 1/2 miles to the lake. This part of the trail is steep and rocky, but not dangerous. This is a multiple use trail so motorbikes and ATVs are permitted
Directions: Take Hermit Road west out of Westcliffe to where the jeep road intersects the Rainbow Trail. The sign is hard to find. It is off to the right on the north side of the road, after you get into the trees. Park along the road.
