General Description

The Eagles Nest Picnic Ground is located on Barr National Recreation Trail approximately 2 miles west of the Manitou Trailhead. Five picnic sites are available for day-use only. The picnic ground stands at an elevation of 8,600'.

Directions from Barr Trailhead: Travel west on Trail 620 approximately 2 miles, then turn north (right) on a spur to the picnic area.

Seasonal Information:
Normally Open: May through October .
