The Meadow Ridge Family Campground is one of two developed campgrounds on the shores of Rampart Reservoir

The Rampart Reservoir Recreation Area offers the recreationist a wide range of opportunities. The area is located 4.2 miles east of Woodland Park on the Rampart Range Road, FDR #300. Meadow Ridge Campground has 19 camp sites at least 30 foot long, two of which have been developed for handicapped use (sites # 12 and # 13). The elevation of the site is 9,200 feet. The camping season begins in late May and continues into November; user fee is $10.00 per night per site. NOTE: There are no handicap-accessible toilets.Camp sites in Meadow Ridge may be reserved through Biospheric's National Reservation System, by calling 1.877.444.6777. Reservations may be made up to 240 days in advance of your first night of arrival or as late as five days prior to your arrival. There is a two-night minimum stay for Meadow Ridge if reservations are made for either Friday or Saturday night. Facilities provided include tables, fire grates, drinking water, vault-type toilets and garbage collection.
Directions from Colorado Springs: Drive 18 miles west on Hwy 24 to Woodland Park. Turn right on to County Road 22 and drive approximately 3 miles to reach Rampart Range Road (Forest Road 300). Travel south a few miles then turn left on Forest Road 306. From there it is 1 mile to the campground.

Boatmans Family Picnic Ground - Boatman's Picnic Ground is located in the Rampart Reservoir Recreation Area 4.2 miles east of Woodland Park. This site offers a plethora of outdoor recreation opportunities on land and water.
BPW Nature Trail - BPW Nature Trail (#712) was a project of the Business and Professional Women and is an interpretive trail designed for wheelchairs with signing in Braille.
Promontory Family Picnic Ground - Promontory Picnic Ground is located in the Rampart Reservoir Recreation Area 4.2 miles east of Woodland Park. This site offers a plethora of outdoor recreation opportunities on land and water.
Rainbow Gulch Trailhead - Rainbow Gulch Trailhead serves the trails surrounding Rampart Reservoir. It is located on Rampart Range Road and allows users to access the reservoir area without paying the day-use fee.
Thunder Ridge Campground - Thunder Ridge Campground is located in the Rampart Reservoir Recreation Area 4.2 miles east of Woodland Park. This site offers a plethora of outdoor recreation opportunities on land and water.
