General Description

Lodgepole Campground is located approximately 21 miles northeast of the town of Fairplay, Colorado. This campground consists of 35 individual family campsites. The campsites each include a table, fire grate, and parking spur. Drinking water, garbage collection and vault toilets are provided on site. The nearest public telephone is in Jefferson, about miles from the campground. The nearest fire and emergency services are also located in Jefferson. Recreation opportunities include fishing and hiking.

Directions from Fairplay: Lodgepole Campground is located approximately 21 miles northeast of the town of Fairplay, Colorado. Visitors can reach this campground by taking State Highway 285 north out of Fairplay 17 miles to the town of Jefferson. Then drive west on County Road 35 for approximately 2 miles to Forest Developed Road (FDR) 37. Travel northwest on FDR 37 for approximately 2 miles to the campground.

Directions from Jefferson: Travel northwest 2 miles on County Road 35 to County Road 37. Travel north on 37 2.4 miles to the campground.
