General Description

Jefferson Lake Picnic Ground is located approximately 25 miles northeast of the town of Fairplay, Colorado. The picnic ground consists of 35 sites. Each site includes a table and a fire grate. Picnic ground facilities include drinking water, garbage collection and vault toilets. Most visitors use this site while fishing or boating in Jefferson Lake.

Directions from Fairplay: Jefferson Lake Picnic Ground is located approximately 25 miles northeast of the town of Fairplay, Colorado. Visitors may reach this picnic ground by taking State Highway 285 north from Fairplay 17 miles to the town of Jefferson. Then drive west on County Road 35 for approximately 2 miles to Forrest Developed Road 37. Travel northwest on 37 for 6 miles to the picnic ground.
