Breakneck Pass (Forest Developed Road 175) is an access point to Sheep Park and Twelvemile Creek areas southwest of Sheep Ridge. The road was originally developed by miners to access the valley below the Mosquito Range. Round Hill (11,243') lies west of the intersection of Weston Pass Road and Breakneck Pass Road. The road follows its northern flanks as it climbs to the pass. As the road reaches the pass it intersects with Round Hill Road, which is gated on the southern side of Round Hill. On the western side of the pass Breakneck Road leads into the Sheep Creek drainage. The pass is usually open mid-May to mid-October, weather dependent.
