General Description

Wigwam Campground is located approximately two and one half miles southwest of the small town of Deckers on Highway 126. This campground consists of ten individual campsites. Each campsite includes a table and a fire ring. There is one large parking area. The facilities include a hand-pumped well and two vault toilets. Two sites have been modified to provide barrier-free access. All roads and parking lot are paved and in good condition. The nearest public telephone is located in the town of Deckers. The nearest fire and emergency services are located in the town of Trumbull, one mile from Deckers.

The popular Gill trailhead leaves out of the campground and allows anglers access to the Gold Medal waters of the South Platte River. The trail itself provides hiking and horseback riding recreation opportunities.

Lone Rock Campground - Lone Rock Campground consists of 20 individual campsites including one barrier-free unit and two units with electricity. The main attraction for this campground is the gold medal fishing waters of the South Platte.

Molly Gulch Campground - Molly Gulch Campground is located approximately 11 miles southwest of the small town of Deckers. This campground consists of 15 individual family campsites.

Platte River Campground - The Platte River Campground consists of ten individual campsites, each with a table and a fire ring. This site attracts many anglers due to the Gold-Medal waters of the South Platte River.

Scraggy View Picnic Ground - The Scraggy View Picnic Area consists of three individual sites, with a table at each site. It is popular with anglers because of its close proximity to the gold-medal waters of the South Platte River.

Willow Bend Picnic Ground - The Willow Bend Picnic Area consists of five individual sites, each with a table. This site is used often by anglers because of it's close proximity to the gold-medal waters of the South Platte River.
