General Description

Molly Gulch Campground is located approximately 11 miles southwest of the small town of Deckers. This campground consists of 15 individual family campsites that accommodate trailers under 16 feet. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and parking spur. The facilities include drinking water from a hand-pumped well and two vault toilets. The nearest public telephone is located in the town of Deckers. The nearest fire and emergency services are located in the town of Trumbull one mile from Deckers.

Goose Creek runs adjacent to the campground and offers excellent fishing. Sheeprock, rising 8,612 feet to the east, is popular with the technical rock climbers. There are also several trailheads within one mile that access Lost Creek Wilderness. This 120,151 acre wilderness provides some of the most spectacular granite formations in the Rockies.

Directions from Highway 126: Molly Gulch Campground is located approximately 11 miles southwest of the small town of Deckers. Visitors can reach this campground by taking Highway 126 to Forest Developed Road 211. Continue driving on 211 past Cheesman Lake onto 560 until you reach the campground on the left (east).
