General Description

Scraggy View Picnic Ground is located approximately six miles north of the
small town of Deckers on Highway 67. This picnic area consists of three individual sites, with a table at each site. There is a common parking area for all sites. Drinking water is not provided. Sanitation is provided for by a vault toilet. The nearest public telephone is located in the town of Deckers. The nearest fire and emergency services are located in the town of Trumbull one mile from Deckers. The South Platte River which runs adjacent to the picnic ground offers Gold Medal fishing, kayaking and other recreation opportunities.
