General Description

Topaz Point Picnic Ground is located at the southern end of Rampart Range Road. The site includes 5 picnic areas with tables, fire grates and toilets. There is no drinking water available at Topaz Point.

Users of this site usually focus on motorcycling or hiking. The Rampart Range Motorcycle Area features a nationally known network of motorcycle trails. The Devil's Head Trail features a 1.5 mile hiking path to the last lookout tower still in use in the Pike National Forest.

Directions from Sedalia: To reach the Topaz Point Picnic Ground travel approximately ten miles west of Sedalia on Highway 67 to the Rampart Range Road. Turn left (south) on the Rampart Range Road for approximately eight and one-half miles to the picnic ground.
