The National Forest Service challenges all off-highway vehicle (OHV) users to TREAD LIGHTLY on public lands. The Tread Lightly program educates and informs forest users on how to enjoy recreation opportunities without damaging resources or negatively affecting others enjoyment of public lands. Potential damage to our natural environment is intensified due to increasing popularity of OHVs. (This category of vehicles includes 4 WD, ATVs, dirt bikes, mountain bikes and snowmobiles.) TREAD LIGHTLY was created to curb damage to soil, water, wildlife, visual and solitude components on the forest. For more information contact any Ranger District Office.

Directions from Deckers: Highway 67 Access: Travel north on Highway 67 to Oxyoke, where the highway makes a sharp right turn. Follow Highway 67 for approximately 6 miles to its intersection with trail 675 on the eastern side of the road.

Directions from Sedalia: Rampart Range Road Access: To reach the Cabin Ridge Motorized Trail travel approximately ten miles west of Sedalia on Highway 67 to the Rampart Range Road. Turn left (south) on the Rampart Range Road and drive approximately 7 miles to the trailhead and parking area on the eastern side of the road. If you reach Devil's Head Picnic Ground you've gone too far south.

Devil Slide Motorized Trail - Devil Slide Trail leads 6.4 miles south from trail 675 to trail 677. The trail is rated for intermediate to expert ability levels and sees moderate use.

Devil's Head Campground - The Devil's Head Campground consists of 21 individual family campsites, that include a table, fire ring and parking spur. The Devil's Head Trail attracts many visitors and leaves from the campground.

Devil's Head Lookout Trail - The Devil's Head Lookout Trail begins in the picnic area adjacent to Devil's Head Campground and ends at the last fire lookout for the Pike National Forest.

Devil's Head Picnic Ground - Devil's Head Picnic Ground provides 10 picnic units, which include tables, drinking water and toilets, at an elevation of 8,700'. The focus of recreational activity at Devils Head is hiking and motorcycling.

Flat Rock Motorized Trail - Flat Rock Motorized Trail, # 674, leads 4.1 miles between Cabin Ridge Trail and Bar Trail. It is rated at an intermediate ability level and gets heavy use.

Gramp's Motorized Trail - Gramp's Trail, #657, leads 2.7 miles southwest from Rampart Range Road to Trail 675. The trailhead for this intermediate connector lies 5.75 miles south of Highway 67 on Rampart Range Road.

Noodle Motorized Trail - Noodle Trail, #677, is the longest trail in the Rampart Range Motorized Trail System. Consequently, it also has the most varied terrain. The trail leads 12.3 miles from Highway 67 southwest to Rampart Range Road.
