Trail # 676, Devil Slide, may be accessed from Rampart Range Road via Cabin Ridge Trail, 675. Rampart Range Road Trailhead provides ample parking. Users should proceed .8 miles on trail 675 to reach 676 on the left side of the trail. The first fork on this trail is 657 and leads to the right. Continue past this fork to reach the beginning of trail 676.The Devil Slide Trail is 6.4 miles of intermediate to expert-level riding. It is very scenic with 2 difficult sections of trail to negotiate. This route gets a moderate level of use. The trail ends on Noodle Trail, 677, which leads east to Rampart Range Road south of Topaz Point Picnic Ground. Traveling west on route 677 will lead users to Highway 67 east of Oxyoke. The National Forest Service challenges all off-highway vehicle (OHV) users to TREAD LIGHTLY on public lands. The Tread Lightly program educates and informs forest users on how to enjoy recreation opportunities without damaging resources or negatively affecting others enjoyment of public lands. Potential damage to our natural environment is intensified due to increasing popularity of OHVs. (This category of vehicles includes 4 WD, ATVs, dirt bikes, mountain bikes and snowmobiles.) Directions from Deckers: Highway 67 Access: Travel north on Highway 67 to Oxyoke, where the highway makes a sharp right turn. Follow Highway 67 for approximately 6 miles to its intersection with trail 675 on the eastern side of the road.
Directions from Sedalia: Rampart Range Road Access: To reach the Cabin Ridge Motorized Trail travel approximately ten miles west of Sedalia on Highway 67 to the Rampart Range Road. Turn left (south) on the Rampart Range Road and drive approximately 7 miles to the trailhead and parking area on the eastern side of the road. If you reach Devil's Head Picnic Ground you've gone too far south.
