Reservations are required through the Reservation Center for the House Creek Group Picnic Ground. The Picnic Ground is on the eastern shore of McPhee Reservoir and includes 1 group unit with asphalt parking, tables, grills, drinking water, toilets, gravel overflow parking, trash disposal and a trailer dump station.
Directions from Dolores, Colorado: Travel north at 11th street on Dolores-Norwood Road (Forest Road 526) for 6 miles. Then go southeast for 5.4 miles on House Creek Road (Forest Road 528).
