This is a scenic area that is lightly used. Some areas are difficult to reach and there is no separate for horses.
Directions from Bayfield, Colorado: Travel 17 miles east on U.S. Highway 160, then north on First Fork Road (Forest Road 622) and drive 12 miles to the end of the road.
