This picnic area is located south of Molas Pass at an elevation of 10,000 feet. There are two sites and a toilet available; fires are permitted. Located right off the highway, it is a popular rest area for travelers.
Directions from Durango, Colorado: Travel north on U.S. Highway 550 for 36 miles.
Directions from Silverton, Colorado: Travel south on U.S. Highway 550 for 8 miles.
