Report: I have nothing to report. The Campground cancelled my reservation without contacting me. I drove over 1100 miles to find that I had no place to stay and if I decided to "illegally" stay I would be charged $5000.00
Nice...real nice, never again!

Report: First time camping and the site was excellent! Short distance from Aspen and well marked from both directions. Was slightly confused as to where the host site was (since I'm a first-timer), but they came around to check on each site (once in the evening and once in the morning). Loved the fact that each site is its own little nook and contains a picnic bench and fire pit. Great hiking trail nearby (kind of steep).
Conditions: Rained while setting up tent, but our site (24) was nicely shaded and enclosed by trees. Enjoyed the sound of the nice little stream that ran right by our site!
Water Availability: Water from ground faucets was fine for drinking.

Report: GREAT campground. Lots of privacy, easy run in to town. No views as the trees are close but lots to see on the road towards Independance Pass.
Conditions: Went over Memorial Day and got snowed on. Vault toilets are as bad as they were when I last visited 8 years ago.
Water Availability: Water from the faucet was muddy.

Report: Great place to crash the night before a Maroon Bells summit bid. Skip the crowded camprounds close to the peaks and avoid the hassle and disappointment of not finding any spots mid-summer. Difficult campground is anything but!

Report: Stumbled across Difficult by chance, very lucky find. We rolled in late on a Saturday and were greeted by very warm, friendly hosts that fortunately had two spots left, 19 and 24. 24 was absolutely perfect, small and near the stream, some kind soul had even left the perfect "smore" stick. The gentle rumblings of the stream were very nice!!!!
Conditions: conditions were great, no troubles.
Water Availability: h20 was very accessible and tasty!!!!!!

Report: Great campground. Pretty secluded from other sites due to dense foilage except for noise (dogs, etc.) Close enough to Aspen to allow for town activities or just an emergency supply run.
Conditions: Conditions were dry, no fires were allowed. Sites had some gravel to prevent mud in case it rained.
Water Availability: Water was plentiful and drinkable...also close to many streams and the Roaring Fork river.
