General Description

The Music Tent Trail connects the Rio Grande Trail and the Music Tent property via the John Grindley bridge over the Roaring Fork River. It is managed by Aspen Parks & Recreation. This is an easy, .2 mile, paved trail. This trail is on the northwest side of Aspen and travels west to the Rio Grande Trail which continues all the way to Glenwood Springs.

Directions: To get to the trail, take Hwy 82 south into Aspen. Follow Main Street (Hwy 82) to Third Street, turn left (north). Continue on Third Street to where it ends at Gillespie Street. Turn left onto Gillespie and then a very quick right onto Roaring Fork Road. Stay left when Roaring Fork Road goes right.
