Trappers Lake is located 50 miles east of Meeker. There are four campgrounds available in the Trappers Lake area: Bucks, Trapline, Cutthroat and Shepherds Rim. All four are described here. Fishing is available in Trappers Lake, Little Trappers Lake, Wall Lake, and Fraser Creek. Nearby trails include Trappers Lake Trail #1816, Stillwater Trail #1814, Carhart Trail #1815, and Wall Lake Trail #1818. Trappers Lake itself is located within the Flat Tops Wilderness boundary where no mechanized or motorized vehicles are permitted; regulations are posted. Facilities: The Trappers Lake campgrounds tables, fire grates, toilets, drinking water, and trash service. Directions from Meeker: Travel east on Highway 13 from Meeker for 1 mile, turning right onto County Road 8. Travel 39 miles on County Road 8 to Trappers Lake Road. Travel 11 miles to the campgrounds.
