Report: 'Good Fishing' and wonderful views of the area. Lake Avery sits above the road, climb is a little steep but road is excellent, good picnic area, lots of deer and elk to see. Cafe's and a bait shop near by. Sleepy Cat Resort just down the road dinner was excellent!!! ie - prime rib !! Lots of other things to do/see horseback riding, other fishing sites, wildlife viewing, hiking. There are amenties near by.
Conditions: Memorial Day, cool wet mornings -warm afternoons, not much cover around the lake, but there is a sheltered picnic area, boat ramp is good, it can get a little windy
Water Availability: Plenty of water, they have had rain this year.
Recommended Clothing: bring a jacket - it can get windy and a little cool
Suggested Accessories: We fished with night crawlers caught quite a few smalltrout but threw them back for the next fisherperson
