Pine Island Lake offers fishing for Rainbow, Brook and Cutthroat Trout.
Directions from Meeker: 35 miles east of Meeker take State Highway 13 for 1 mile, turn right onto County Road 8 for 28 miles; turn right, cross the bridge and turn left on the Marvine Creek Road (County Road 12) for 6 miles to the Marvine Trailhead parking area. From the Lower Marvine Lake go 1 mile north. This trail is not maintained.
