Dearhamer is 32 miles east of Carbondale. It is located on the Fryingpan River and east of Ruedi Reservoir.

1) Camping units for auto and trailer, pickup campers, motor homes and tents.
2) Water available from hydrant.
3) Vault type toilet.
4) Camping units have table and benches, fire ring and parking spur.
5) Graveled campground road.

Directions from Basalt: 23 miles east of Basalt, CO up the Frying Pan Rd, County Rd 104

Seasonal Information:
Normal Services Available: Mid-May through Late September (NOTE: fee season offers water, trash colection, vault toilets, camp hosts, and firewood sales) .

Report: Great place to camp. Quite, shaded and remote enough to forget about reality. THE FISHING WAS UNBELIEVABLE. I caught 83 trout in three days...no kidding!!!
Conditions: June rain in the afternoon was enough to cool down the heat of the sun and give the ground some moisture.
