Rocky Fork Day Use Area is available for use by donation. It is located west of Ruedi Reservoir and provides access to recreation opportunities on land and water. No drinking water is available at this site, but it is located on the Fryingpan River. The elevation of Rocky Fork Day Use Area is 7,600 ft.

Report: For those who have never fished this portion of the Frying Pan River, it's something of a rite of passage. Some tough fish live here, but catching one of them is a great thrill.
Conditions: A bit crowded (as usual) but well worth the trip. Weather was good - bright and sunny with not too much wind. Flows are substantial right now (in order to make up for reduced flow from the Roaring Fork, no doubt), so care must be taken when wade-fishing.
