Dearhammer Campground - Dearhamer is 32 miles east of Carbondale. It is located on the Fryingpan River and east of Ruedi Reservoir.
Eagle Lake Trail - The Eagle Lake Trail travels through aspen stands which will take you along the edge of Woods Lake Resort (private).
Elk Wallow Campground - Elk Wallow is located 40 miles east of Carbondale, adjacent to the North Fork of the Fryingpan River. This campground is most suited for guests looking for a quiet, relatively primitive setting.
Last Chance Trail - The trail crosses Last Chance Creek near the beginning and then is an easy walk through meadows most of the way. It ends at the junction with Tellurium Lake trail.
Mt. Thomas Trail - The views of the Fryingpan and Eagle Valley are fantastic. This trail makes an excellent loop trail connecting with Reudi Trail #1912. It is a very challenging and long trip.
Sylvan Lake - Sylvan Lake, a 40 acre lake at 8,510 feet, offers non motorized boating opportunities, good fishing for brook and rainbow trout, and panoramic views of the surrounding alpine scenery.
Sylvan Lake Campground - This state-operated campground on the edge of scenic Sylvan Lake, sits at an elevation of 8,558 feet, and offers 50 campsites.
Tellurium Lake Trail - This trail is an easy trail to hike with lots of meadows with flowers.
