Overlooking Bogan Flats Campground and the Crystal River Valley

Bogan Flats Campground is 25 miles south of Carbondale. It is located adjacent to the Crystal River. It is one of the most scenic and therefore popular campgrounds on the Sopris District. The group site is located about 1/4 mile east of the campground at an elevation of 7,600 ft. 1) Camping units for auto and trailer, pickup campers, motor homes and tents.
2) Water available from faucets.
3) Vault type toilets.
4) Camping unit has table and benches, fire rings, and spurs for parking.
5) Paved campground roads.
6) Sites 19-34 on reservation system. Call 1-800-280-2267 for reservations. The closest facilities are as follows: Coffee Bar, Store - Marble Grocery Store - Redstone (8 miles north) Gas Station - Redstone Dump Station - Glenwood Springs (35 miles northwest) Drug Store - Carbondale (25 miles north) Physicians - Carbondale Hospital - Glenwood Springs Church - Marble (5 miles east)/Redstone
Directions from Carbondale: 21 miles south of Carbondale, CO on Hwy. 133 and then 2 miles on Gunnison County Rd 3
