There is no maintained trail to Strawberry Lakes but they can be accessed from the Eagle Lake trail

Please respect the private property signs of Woods Lake. Also take notice of the Hydroelectric plant. This was one of the first in the nation and provides power for Woods Lake Resort. The Eagle Lake Trail travels through aspen stands which will take you along the edge of Woods Lake Resort (private). Upon leaving the aspen grove follow the road to Lime Creek. At this time you have two options on crossing the creek: one is to wade, the other is to take the primitive bridge just left of the hydroelectric plant to get across (this will take you into a small opening, then up a short, steep climb). The trail then is a gradual climb up to Eagle Lake. Make sure you take advantage of the many turnouts to view the stream and the many waterfalls. Horses are not recommended due to the solid rock trail and no place to Hi-Line at the lake.
Directions from Hwy. 82: Travel east on Hwy. 82 to Basalt. Turn left into downtown Basalt and follow the Fryingpan River Road approximately 22 miles to road #400 on the left side of the road just past second bridge after Ruedi Reservoir. After a steep climb the road goes through Lime Park. At the upper end of the park take road #506 to the right for about one mile. When the road forks again, take road #507 to the left for approximately miles to the trailhead bulletin board. At this point the road is closed because of private property.
