Directions from Vail: Proceed west on I-70 approximately 5 miles to exit 171, the Minturn exit. Turn right (south) from the off-ramp onto Highway 24. Follow Highway 24 south approximately 11.5 miles from I-70 to the turnoff on the right (west) side of the road. This is the start of Homestake road, number 703. Follow the road 7 miles to the campground.
