General Description

Lowry Campground is located between Keystone and Breckenridge, on Swan Mt. Rd, at an elevation of 9,320 feet. Reservations for the campground are accepted. Campground, dump station, electric hookup, and additional vehicle fees are charged.

Facilities and Services:

Lowry Campground has 29 camping sites. It has vault toilets, water, electrical hookups, dump station and garbage service.

Directions from Silverthorne: Go 4 miles east on Hwy. 6. Turn right on Swan Mountain road which leads to Lowry Campground.

Normal Services Available: Mid-May through Mid-September (NOTE: Weather may affect the opening or closing of the facilities. If a reduction in service occurs, a reduction in price may coincide.) .

Dillon Reservoir Recreation Area - The Dillon Reservoir Recreation Area surrounds Dillon Reservoir, on the south side of Silverthorne and Dillon. The reservoir sits at an elevation of 9,015 feet.

Miners Creek Trail - Miners Creek trail stretches from Frisco, up along the top of the Tenmile Range, then down to Copper Mountain. It can be accessed at either end.

Mount Royal Trail - The Mount Royal Trail starts on the edge of Frisco and leads up past the old town of Masontown to the summit of Mount Royal.

Sapphire Point Overlook - The Sapphire Point Overlook provides panoramic views of Dillon Reservoir and the surrounding mountains.
