General Description

The campground is located in a grass meadow surrounded by dispersed stands of cottonwood, quaking aspen, douglas fir, and ponderosa pine. The South Fork Boise River runs along the eastern edge of the campground Rafting swimming and fishing are among the many recreational activities Green Creek Trail 270 is located near the campground. Green Creek Trail is approximately 4.5 miles in length, motorized, and rated "MODERATE" in difficulty, this trail intersects with Cross Cut Trail 172, another Motor- ized system. Telephone is located within the campground.

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. No Livestock. No discharge of firearms or fireworks. Pets must be leashed. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am. There is an information board at the park.

Directions: Located 5 miles north of Pine, along the South Fork Boise River. From Mountain Home, Idaho, take Highway 20, off of I-84 Junction, east for 35 miles to Pine/Featherville exit (Forest Highway 61). Travel north on Highway 61 for 24 miles to Elks Flat Campground. Improved paved road to the junction of the campground.
