General Description

TRAIL BEGINS: At the east end of Forest road #30043

TRAIL ENDS: On the trail that runs between the Flying A Ranch and Waterdog Lakes on the Pinedale Ranger District (no number).

ATTRACTIONS: This area has good wildlife habitat, and nice views of Gros Ventre Range. NOTE: Almost all of the trail is within the Shoal Creek Wilderness Study Area.

Directions from US Hwy. 191-189, Hoback Canyon: This trail has difficult access. About 6 miles southeast of Bondurant take the North Fork Fisherman Creek Road #30650. About 3 miles north of the junction, parking is recommended due to the badly eroded condition of the road. Take the left fork here and continue by foot, horse or bike. The Jack Creek trail is about 1 1/2 miles to the north.
