General Description

TRAIL BEGINS: Off of Upper Hoback road #30700 about 2.5 miles east of the end of the road.

TRAIL ENDS: About 4 miles SW of the trailhead on the South Fork of the Hoback. (May end on Grizzly Creek but needs to be inventoried.)

ATTRACTIONS: Great views of the Hoback River country, and good wildlife habitat. The South Fork provides ample water until the trail climbs to meet the Grizzly Creek Trail.

Directions from US Hwy. 191-189: About 5 miles southeast of Hoback Guard Station, go south on the Hoback River Road (Forest Road #30700) about 12 miles. Turning left go down a steep hill, across the bridge, and continue to the trailhead on foot or horseback.
