Grizzly Creek Trail

TRAIL ENDS: On Silver Mine Creek at its junction with North Horse Creek trail #053.

ATTRACTIONS: Good views of the Hoback River drainage and surrounding mountains, and good wildlife viewing.

Directions from US Hwy. 191-189: About 5 miles southeast of the Hoback Guard Station, turn south on the Hoback River Road. From here, turn south just before the end of the road and cross the river, going toward the outfitter camp. The trailhead is on the west side of the clearing.

South Fork Hoback Trail - This trail leads up the South Fork of the Hoback River. It offers great views of the Hoback River country.

Upper Hoback River Trail - This trail leads up the upper end of the Hoback River, linking to the North Horse Creek Trail #053. It leads through open meadows and a narrow steep canyon.
