TRAIL BEGINS: At the south end of Forest Road #30530 Cliff Creek Road, at its junction with Forest road #30531 Sandy Marshall Creek.TRAIL ENDS: On the Upper Hoback River Trail #131 about 1 1/4 miles south of Roosevelt Meadows. ATTRACTIONS: View of one of the district's prettiest waterfalls, Cliff Creek Falls. This trail also accesses the WRNRT and high alpine terrain. Cliff Creek must be crossed at least 3 times but the fords are not too deep or wide. Small sensitive camp spots exist at the trailhead, plus Snag Creek, Bondurant Creek and the falls. SPECIAL CARE MUST BE TAKEN WITH SANITATION.
Directions from US Hwy. 191-189, Hoback Canyon: Turn south about 4 miles west of the Hoback Guard Station onto Forest Road # 30530. Continue south to where the road turns sharply to the east and becomes Sandy Marshall road. Turn west, ford Cliff Creek and continue about 3/4 mile south to the trailhead.
